Velvety Chocolate Cherry: (Tree of Life).

For the one who’s finding their way back.

In the beginning, we had access to the Tree of Life; real peace, real joy, real closeness with YHWH. No walls. No shame. Just life in its purest form.

But when mankind chose our own way instead of His, we lost more than a garden. We lost Eden itself; our direct connection to the life-giving presence of YHWH. From that moment on, we’ve been trying to find our way back; not just to a physical place, but to the closeness we once had with our Creator.

The beautiful truth? The way back isn’t complicated; but it is essential.

“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life..." Revelation 22:14

Obedience isn’t just about following rules; it’s about choosing to trust YHWH. It’s learning to listen, even when it’s hard, and letting go of the things that pull us away from Him. It’s walking toward what gives life, not what drains it.

It means choosing to do what’s right, even when it’s not easy. Choosing humility when pride feels louder. These choices matter. They shape our hearts and bring us closer to the One who’s always been calling us back.

Every step of obedience is a step toward healing, toward purpose, toward the Tree of Life. And the more we walk with Him, the more we become who we were always meant to be.

“To the one who overcomes, I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of Elohim.” Revelation 2:7

That word "overcome" speaks to all of us in a different way. It’s for the one pressing through grief. The one resisting what’s easy to choose what’s right. The one who’s been tested, refined like gold, and though scarred, still chooses to rise. Because the fire doesn’t destroy; it purifies. And YHWH sees the strength in your endurance.

YHWH sees every one of those moments. And He promises that for the one who endures, restoration is waiting. Not just renewed strength for this life, but a place at the Tree again. A place in His paradise. In His presence. Forever.

So, if you're tired, unsure, or just need a little light, let this candle remind you: You’re not lost. You’re growing. You’re being called back to the Tree of Life. And the way is still open.

Even when you feel off-track, YHWH is always calling you back; back to His presence, back to wholeness, back to life. All it takes is a willing heart and one simple step toward Him.

"Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you..." James 4:8
